UNIQUE NOUGAT SUPERIOR QUALITY

 

For many years we produce the Sardinian Nougat, not just a simple one Sardinian Nougat, but the Sardinian Nougat. The Sardinian Nougat for us is just only that has these proprieties:

 

  1. It is made just only by honey (usually Sardinian) ,dried fruit of first quality, white egg (1%);
  2. Its contents arrives almost 50% in weight of fresh fruit;
  3. It doesn’t content added sugar like sucrose and glucose syrup – these ingredients are used by others Factories of Nugats in Italy;
  4. Obviously the honey has sugar in it.

Our Nougat is made in this way, there isn’t trick.
The secret is the raw materials of exstra quality and the ancient knowledge to mix these proprieties so precious
 

CONSUME

 

Try to conserve our Nougat in the freezer and later taste it still cold. Low temperature can grow up all the caratteristics about the honey and about dried fruit. The cold inhibits sugar tones and the strong aroma of the essences, present in the honey and in the fresh fruit, they free in the mouth. The only one Nugats friend of the cold is that made just only by honey.

CONSERVATION

Conserve the Nougat IN ONE PLACE FRESH, the dried fruit is one ingredient very delicate, above all during the hot period can deteriorates itself easly we suggest to conserve itat the temperature not under 20°C or better inside the refrigerator inside its packaging closed. Is How The modality to conserve all caratterics about the honey aroma, for long time, the stimilating taste of the almonds of first choice, is how the way to preserve the right tension of the pasta? The answer is: “cold”… To preserve the Pruneddu Nougat is enough to hold it in the freezer.
But remember: before freezing it, you have to cut it in little pieces: “it will be ready for every use you will going to do” inside your freezer, for several months; you have always to conserve it inside one box closed (for example one ice cream box); in this way the Nougat will not absorbe umidity and it will have the right consistence.
Serve the Nougat that it still remains just cold, just got it from freezer: cold is much more good!
Before freezing it, to cut it easly… We suggest to put it inside the microwave for 10 seconds, or you can stand it near one warm source. Slighty warmed the Nougat become softer and to cut it is easier.

EXPIRATION DATE

 


Sadly doesn’t exist one certain EXPIRATION DATE for the Nougat. So every producer, by his point of view, can establish the EXPIRATIO DATE for his Nougat. And cunning and “pirates” are not lacking…

We procede in this way

We indicate on the packaging the SHORTER EXPIRATION DATES, in our Nougat there aren’t food preservatives and we use just only genuine ingredients.

These are the EXPIRATION DATES in our products:

  • maximum 10 months for the Walnuts Nougat,
  • maximum 14 months for the Hazelnuts Nougat,
  • maximum 18 months for the Almonds Nougat.

What you have to Know to not waste your money:

  • the Walnut Nougat: is that more delicate so it has the shorter EXPIRATION DATE, never over 12 months;
  • Almonds Nougat: has more resistence so it will have longer EXPIRATION DATE, but always inside 2 years;
  • Hazelnuts Nougat: has intermediate resistance so its EXPIRATION DATE is after 12 months.
